Planning for a stress-free Christmas
17 October 2018
It’s seems like it’s happened in a blink – but the end of year is in sight, with Christmas just around the corner. A little pre-planning can help, so that the end of the year is stress-free and runs smoothly!
Do you have a yard with older equipment, you know the type…still works, just needs a spruce-up? Making a quick list of much needed repairs or working out what accessories (like flowerboxes, firemans poles, handles to help little hands with climbing up) would reinvigorate the play equipment you already own.
Once you have a plan, getting your new accessories pre-ordered can save you lot’s of stress, when Christmas get’s really close! And often, just a few small tweaks, with accessories or paint can make your kids super excited about their backyard again. And help your Christmas budget go much further!
What type of play…
Thinking of new equipment for your kids? Will the cubby you’re thinking of be big enough to house your toddler and your baby (when he or she is also a toddler), plus their mates? Can your kids grow with the play equipment in your yard? Or can it be added to…so there’s always something in your backyard that interests your child?
Keeping in mind the ages (currently) of your kids and planning for when they change and grow developmentally, can really save you time and money in the long run.
Investing in quality, big items for your backyard can be costly in the short term. And laying out the necessary payment for quality equipment (the kind that you know will go-the-distance) can put a strain on the family budget at Christmas. Begining a layby, even just a few months prior, can spread payments out and ease the cost, taking the pressure off in the crazy time that is December!
When it comes to backyard play equipment for your kids, with just a small amount of pre-planning, you can have a Christmas that leaves you stress-free and able to enjoy the party season.
